| | I always tell myself to be more consistent in my blogging ways but alas, as a quick check with the most recent post would prove, it is a goal not yet acheived. Factually speaking, I realise this tendency to procrastinate is rampant not only in my dealings with this vast array of interconnected computers. You might even call it a web of connection. An 'inter-web' as it were.
However, this is easily rectified. Henceforth I shall try to put my intangible, and often incomprehensible, thoughts into words.
Having said that, I present you with this:
6Be joyful always; 17pray continually; 18give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. ~ 1 Thesselonians 5:16-18
We all have our rought spots and moments of despair. Nevertheless, don't let your circumstances pull you down, be it caused by a tiff with a close comrade or an unfortunate series of utterly disparaging events.
While it may not be easy to give thanks in all circumstances, it doesn't hurt to try. The outcome of a particularly unfavourable situation is infinitely unknown to us, so much so that even our best, and most educated, guesses are often erroneous.
In fact, do not let it lead you to speculate about the subsequent things the prior event may lead to as precognition is an ability we do not possess. Pray about it and allow God to work in your life.
Who knows? You might end up being joyful even in dire circumstances.
